Miracle Gardens in Dubai, UAE
The world’s biggest flower garden
March

Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Today we visited the Miracle
Gardens, a vast complex of flowers and plants. The featured attraction is
the full-sized jumbo jet completely covered with dazzling
flowers. This jumbo jet set the Guinness world record for
the largest flower structure.
Distance wise, it is quite a
drive from the city proper of Dubai. Depending on traffic, it could take
you more than 30 minutes by taxi. There is no Metro service directly
to Miracle Garden. You can, however, take the Metro to the Mall of
the Emirates, then a taxi to Miracle Garden. Going back, take a taxi
(there are many at the Miracle Gardens). If you plan to visit
the Miracle Gardens, perhaps think about a stop afterward at the Mall of the
Emirates.
The opening of Dubai Miracle
Garden has transformed the parched desert landscape of Dubai into the world’s
biggest natural flower garden. It is hot here but there is
plenty of shade where you can escape from the heat.
Think about a stop afterward at
the Mall of the Emirates
The Mall of the Emirates is a
multi-level shopping mall that currently features more than 630 retail outlets,
7900 parking spaces, over 100 restaurants & cafes, 80 luxury stores and 250
flagship stores. It also features Ski Dubai, the Middle East’s first indoor ski
resort and snow park, the 500-seat capacity Dubai Community Theatre and Arts
Centre and Magic planet, one of the largest indoor family entertainment centers
in Dubai.
The Dubai Miracle Garden has
approximately 100 million blooming flowers and has about 55,000 visitors per
week but never feels crowded. The well-maintained gardens contain
around 70 different flower varieties.
